New York-based French-Cameroonian Artist FRANCIS JOCKY featured on Official FIFA World Cup (TM) CD 'Listen Up' and to perform at World Cup in South Africa
NEW YORK - Cameroonian born, French raised, and New York city based artist Francis Jocky is featured on the official FIFA World Cup (TM) album 'Listen Up' released on May 31, 2010 by SONY Music. On track number 10, entitled Maware Maware (Japanese word for spin), Francis Jocky has been invited to join Japanese super star and multi-million record seller Misia feat. DJ M2J.
In celebration of the Japan-Cameroon soccer game, and for the SONY 3D TV promotional event, Francis Jocky will be performing on June 13 at the Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg. Visitors of the 3D Experience Pavillion can expect to see for the first time in 3D music videos from Shakira and South African group Freshlyground, the 2010 FIFA World Cup Official Song ‘Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),’ and MISIA’s ‘MAWARE MAWARE,’ feat. Francis Jocky and DJ M2J (only artist chosen from Japan and Asia for the Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album “Listen Up”).
